COURSE RESERVES
Reserved materials consist of books, videos, DVD’s, CD's or any other items a professor wishes to make available to an entire class for a whole semester or a portion of the semester. These select materials are located behind the circulation desk. Some are Regular Reserves and some are “STRICT” Reserves.
Patrons must present their ID card in order to check out a reserve item. Only one reserve item may be checked out at a time. The ID will be held at the circulation desk and returned to the student when the reserve item is returned. Exception: ID cards are not held when reserve materials are checked out overnight. The late fine on reserve materials is $1.00 per hour, or any part of an hour, per item.
Regular Reserves may be checked for four hours and may be used in the library or taken out of the library. These materials may be checked out overnight however, they may not leave any sooner than one hour before the library closes and must be returned within one hour after the library opens to ensure maximum patron use.
"STRICT” Reserves may not be taken out of the library at all; not even overnight.
