In the general biology emphasis students can choose from a number of elective classes. Students who choose this emphasis area may go on to seek employment after they graduate or may choose to attend graduate school. For instance, a student interested in plant science, zoology or other area of biological science may choose this emphasis so that they can focus their coursework in one primary area of interest.
Many of our students have successfully completed graduate level educational programs which result in a master’s or PhD degree.
